High above Manali town, where the orchards and mountians meet – we wake to the sound of the whistling thrush and the vistas of the high Himalaya, if you leave your curtains open!

We have 6 guest bedrooms, so at the most you will get 12 (hopefully like minded) people in residence. There is a coffee lounge and dining room, a library with a beautiful balcony to sit and stare. Many corners in the garden for a quiet read. This is a place for conscious living and welcomes adults who want the real joy of the mountains.

Every room has a standard double bed, en suite bathroom with shower, a comfortable armchair or the window seat for a quiet time. The WIFI is terrific.

You’ll find a bottle of drinking water in your room. This water is drawn from a spring sourced by the lama who built this home. It’s fresher than bottled water and tastes better too! It’s the cleanest water you will find, although we do filter it for you.

We don’t do bottled mineral water. Please don’t ask. The planet will thank you for it.

In the cold, winter months, you’ll find hot water bottles with hand knitted covers to warm your bed. Fresh linen and towels are provided in every room.

We don’t do room service.

But we understand that everyone needs a little time away, so you’re welcome to bring your drinks into the room. But please remember to bring them back down when you’re finished. Because… ants and other not so friendly bugs.
