I (even though I say so myself) am probably one of the most experienced all round Adventure experts in India. My time is varied between running this beautiful home and travelling the world with work. If I am at home, please do join me for a drink and exchanging stories.
I have been sailing, diving, trekking, riding since childhood – I was one of the first women to join the burgeoning rafting industry in India in the late 1980’s.
I have led treks to Everest Base Camp, was one of the first few persons to cross the Pin Parvati Pass in Himachal Pradesh, India. My knowledge of the Indian Himalaya is rather vast. I have done numerous treks and driving trips in the mountains of Ladakh, Spiti, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also Nepal and Bhutan.
Other than all the Indian rafting rivers including the Zanskar through it’s spectacular gorge, I have also rafted most of the world’s big rivers – including the Zambesi & the Colorado through the Grand Canyon.
I have been offroad driving pretty much since I first learnt to manage the steering wheel. I led the ‘Queen of the Desert’, an all women’s off roading initiative out of Israel and numerous other off road trips through the deserts of Rajasthan and the Indian Himalaya.
I am a certified Executive Coach and Counsellor and the Executive Director of Outward Bound India Himalaya since 2011. This international, non-profit, outdoor education organization works with schools and corporates to foster personal growth, leadership, and social skills, by using challenging, learning expeditions in the wilderness.
If you have a thirst for wandering and exploring, I am your go to person. Come sit by my bonfire and we can share tales both real and imagined.
